SecureCam (IoT Camera) – Key Terms & Conditions
Customer Information & Registration
- Customer must provide accurate and valid information during registration
- False or misleading information may result in service suspension or termination
Device Ownership & Handling
- SecureCam devices provided by Amber IT remain company property unless purchased
- Customer must not relocate, open, or tamper with the device without approval
Service Requirements
- Customer is responsible for ensuring stable electricity and internet connectivity
- Service performance may vary depending on network quality and environment
AI Features & Service Availability
- AI-based alerts and detections are automated and may not be 100% accurate
- Temporary service interruptions may occur due to maintenance or system upgrades
- Emergency technical issues may require immediate service suspension without prior notice
Service Usage & Legal Compliance
- Customer must use the service only for lawful and legitimate purposes
- Any misuse, illegal monitoring, or violation of privacy laws by the customer may lead to suspension or termination of the service, and the customer will be held fully responsible for any consequences
Account Security & Data
- Customer is responsible for safeguarding login credentials and access to the system
- Amber IT is not responsible for data loss caused by network failure or power outage
- Recorded footage storage depends on the selected cloud/storage plan
Payment & Billing
- Late or unpaid bills may result in suspension or permanent disconnection
- Reconnection charges may apply after service suspension due to non-payment
Equipment Return & Charges
- Customer must return company-owned devices in good condition after termination
- Charges may apply for damaged, lost, or unreturned equipment
Service Updates & Liability
- Amber IT may update service features, pricing, or packages with prior notice
- Amber IT is not liable for indirect losses, security incidents, or damages beyond its control
Warranty & Service Period
- SecureCam comes with 1-year free service; after that, standard charges apply
- Amber IT provides no additional warranty or liability for damages caused by misuse or other reasons
Additional Terms
1. Product and Services
- The IoT SecureCam device comes with a 1-year official warranty from the date of purchase
- Cloud storage services are provided based on the selected subscription package
- AI-enabled features are only available in premium packages as specified
2. Payment Terms
- All payments must be made in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT)
- Payment is processed through SSL Commerz, a secure payment gateway
- All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes
- Payment must be completed before device shipment
3. Delivery Terms
- Delivery is available within Bangladesh only
- Delivery charges vary based on location (Inside Dhaka vs Outside Dhaka)
- Delivery time is 3-7 business days from order confirmation
- Customer must provide accurate delivery address and contact information
4. Warranty and Returns
- Device comes with 1-year manufacturer warranty
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects only
- Returns accepted within 7 days if product is unopened and in original packaging
- Shipping charges are non-refundable
5. Subscription Services
- Cloud storage subscriptions are valid for 30 days from activation
- Subscriptions must be renewed before expiry to maintain access to stored footage
- Amber IT reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice
6. Privacy and Data Protection
- Customer data is protected in accordance with Bangladesh Data Protection regulations
- Video footage is encrypted and stored securely on cloud servers
- Amber IT does not access customer footage without explicit permission
7. Technical Support
- 24/7 technical support is available via phone and email
- Installation support is provided free of charge
- On-site support may incur additional charges based on location
8. Limitation of Liability
- Amber IT is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages
- Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product
- Service interruptions due to force majeure are not covered
